By downloading, installing, or using Paisa Pal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Paisa Pal Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our").
Paisa Pal is a personal expense tracking and budgeting tool designed for Indian students studying abroad. It helps you log transactions, monitor budgets, track class attendance, and manage recurring bills.
Paisa Pal is a personal organisational tool only. It is not a bank, financial institution, or regulated financial service.
Important: Nothing in Paisa Pal — including budget suggestions, spending summaries, currency conversions, FX rate displays, or any other feature — constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice.
Exchange rates shown in the app are fetched from a free third-party API (open.er-api.com) and may not reflect real-time market rates. Do not use them for financial transactions or decisions.
Always consult a qualified financial adviser before making financial decisions.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Paisa Pal. By using the app you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Paisa Pal does not require registration or an account. All data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any PIN or biometric lock you set up in the app.
You own all data you enter into Paisa Pal. You grant us no licence to that data.

Paisa Pal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. We may update, change, or discontinue the app at any time without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Paisa Pal Technologies Pvt Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant the accuracy of currency conversion rates displayed in the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Paisa Pal Technologies Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or financial loss, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed INR 1,000 (or equivalent in local currency).
You may stop using Paisa Pal at any time by deleting the app. All your data will be permanently deleted from your device.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the app for users who violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
For users in Malaysia: these Terms are also subject to the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia) to the extent applicable.
For users in the United Kingdom: nothing in these Terms removes your rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
