Paisa Pal does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

All information you enter into the app — including transactions, budgets, bills, attendance records, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your data, and we do not send it to any server, cloud service, or third party.

2. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on your device using the operating system’s native storage mechanisms (AsyncStorage on Android). The app functions entirely offline, and no internet connection is required for any core feature.

3. Third-Party Services

The app fetches live currency exchange rates from open.er-api.com to provide INR conversion. This is a read-only request that:

• Contains no personal information
• Contains no user-identifiable data
• Is used solely to update exchange rate values in the app

4. Permissions

Paisa Pal requests no device permissions. The app does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, or any other sensitive device features.

5. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by:

• Going to More → Settings → Reset all data within the app
• Or uninstalling the app from your device

Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the app permanently removes all associated data.

6. Children’s Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
